How can I tell if a coach or staff member has set up their payment account?

For officials, event staff, and athletic trainers, look at the Payment column in your Staff Directory roster: Yes means they've connected their bank account and can be paid, No means they haven't. For coaches, look at the Payment Account column on the event's Coaches tab: an orange check-square means they've finished setup and can be paid, a gray icon means not yet.

Where

  • Officials, event staff, trainers: left sidebar → Staff Directory → Payment column.
  • Coaches: Events → open the event → Coaches tab → Payment Account column (hidden by default; turn it on under Columns).

Steps (Staff Directory)

  • Click Staff Directory in the sidebar.
  • Use the type tabs (Officials, Event Staff, Athletic Trainers) or search for the person.
  • Read the Payment column: Yes or No. Hover the column header for what it means.

Steps (Coaches tab)

  • Open the event and click the Coaches tab.
  • Click Columns and tick Payment Account.
  • Orange check-square = setup finished (account connected and payouts turned on). Gray icon = not finished, including coaches who started setup but stopped partway. Click the column header to sort connected coaches to the top.

If someone isn't connected

  • Coaches: click Send link in the coach's row, or Send payment links in the toolbar to text every confirmed coach who isn't set up yet.
  • Officials: open your officiating group's roster on the Officials page. Anyone not set up has a payment link action, and the Needs payment link filter shows just those officials.
  • Event staff: tick their rows and click Send payment setup links (see ES-08).

Teddy texts each person a secure link that doesn't expire. Until they finish, they show No (or the gray icon) and can't be paid; see C-05. People without a mobile number can't be texted a link; they can set it up in their staff portal under Payments.

Good to know

  • Connecting is a one-time step per person and carries across all your events.
  • Ask Teddy "Who hasn't set up their payment account for this event?" for a quick list.
