More than one EIN? Use Show reports for at the top of Reports to see everything for one EIN, or All EINs for your whole organization. It changes everything on the page, including statements, totals, service fees and year-end forms. (The Setting up EIN dropdown on other payroll pages is for setup and adding people, so it's hidden on Reports.)
At the top
- Paid in [year]: everything paid this year.
- Payrolls run and People paid: this year's counts.
- Scheduled to pay: approved payrolls whose pay date hasn't arrived yet.
Payroll history
Each approved payroll shows its period, pay date, number of people, total, and status: Scheduled until the pay date, then Paid. Click a payroll to see it on screen: each person and amount, who approved it and when, and that month's service fees.
- Statement opens a printable record of that payroll: who was paid, how much, the pay date, who approved it, and your Tourney Direct service fees (invoiced separately). Print it or save it as a PDF.
- CSV downloads the same payroll as a spreadsheet.
Totals by person
Everything paid to each person this year, with the number of payments. Contractor totals are what appear on their year-end 1099-NEC. Click Download CSV to share it with your accountant.
Tourney Direct service fees
Each month's service fees are listed by month: the platform fee for each live EIN, plus a fee for each person paid in that month's payroll. They're invoiced separately and aren't part of your payroll debit.
Before you approve
To review a payroll before approving it, use Download preview on the Approve & Pay page (PDF, CSV, or QuickBooks journal). See PR-08.
Year-end tax forms
W-2s (for employees) and 1099-NECs (for contractors) are generated and filed for you after each year ends, so your first forms appear in January after your first year of payroll. Once they're issued, go to Year-end tax forms, pick a year, and click View forms or Download.
