Turn it on
- Click Sign-up Link.
- Pick the Group people should land in. Make a group for each place you recruit (for example "VCU Sport Management" or "Event Staff - Virginia") so you always know where people came from.
- Click Turn on sign-up link.
- Copy the link to paste into an email, newsletter or social post, or click Download QR code for flyers and signs.
Groups that have a sign-up link turned on show a small link icon.
What people see
A page with your logo and a short form: first and last name, mobile number, email (optional), city and state, college or school (optional), and a box to agree to texts about event staff work. After they sign up they get a text confirming they're on your event staff list.
What you see
- New people show up in your Staff Directory as Event Staff, in the group you picked, with a New tag for 7 days. Their city, state and school show under their name.
- The group's pill shows how many people in it are new, for example "3 new".
- The Sign-up Link window shows how many people have signed up through the link.
- When you staff an event, choose that group in Availability Blast to ask them which days they can work. See ES-03.
If someone is already on your roster
We match on mobile number first, then email. Their details on file aren't changed. They're just added to the link's group, on top of any groups they're already in. If they signed up with a different mobile number than the one on file, you'll see "Signed up with (xxx) xxx-xxxx" under their name, and you can update it if it's right.
Staying in control
- Turn off: the page says sign-ups are closed. Turn it back on any time; the link stays the same.
- Make a new link: the old link and its QR code stop working right away. Use this if a link was shared somewhere it shouldn't be.
