What do cancel rate and no-show rate mean on the Reports page?

The cancel rate is the share of confirmed spots that were later cancelled. The no-show rate is the share of confirmed spots where the coach didn't show up. They're worked out the same way as each coach's own cancellation and no-show rates, just for one event instead of one coach.

Where:

Events → Reports, in the Cancel rate and No-show rate columns, and in the season summary at the top.

How they're counted

Rate Formula
Cancel rate Cancelled shifts ÷ (confirmed shifts + cancelled shifts)
No-show rate No-show shifts ÷ (confirmed shifts + no-show shifts)

Both are counted per shift, so a coach who cancelled two shifts counts twice.

Good to know

  • A coach who said no to an offer isn't counted as a cancellation. Only a coach who confirmed and then cancelled is.
  • For an upcoming event, the rates only include what has happened so far.
  • The season summary adds up every event in that season before working out the rate, so busy events count for more than small ones.
