What is the Reports page?Teddy can do this
The Reports page shows how each of your events is doing year over year: how many coaches came, how many came back from last year, what you spent against your budget, and how often coaches cancelled or didn't show. Every event you run each year is one row, and you can open it to see every year side by side.
How is coach retention calculated, and what does "on pace" mean?Teddy can do this
Coach retention is the share of last year's coaches who came back and worked this year. If 40 coaches worked last year and 12 of them worked again this year, retention is 30%. On pace is the same comparison for an event that hasn't happened yet: the share of last year's coaches who have already confirmed. It only becomes retention once the event is over.
What do cancel rate and no-show rate mean on the Reports page?
The cancel rate is the share of confirmed spots that were later cancelled. The no-show rate is the share of confirmed spots where the coach didn't show up. They're worked out the same way as each coach's own cancellation and no-show rates, just for one event instead of one coach.
Why does a year say "Data unavailable" on the Reports page?
A year says Data unavailable when there aren't enough staff records for it to give real numbers. Usually that's because check-ins weren't recorded that year, or because most of that year's staff records were removed when the event was copied for the next year. Rather than show a misleading 0%, the page hides that year and says so.
How does the Reports page know which events are the same event each year?
Each annual event is linked across years behind the scenes, so the 2024, 2025 and 2026 versions of your event are one row on the Reports page. When you Run it back from last year's event, the new event is linked automatically. Events that have only run once are listed separately as First year or Only year.
What does the retention line on my event card mean?
Event cards on the Overview page show one line from the Reports page. A finished event shows its retention compared with the year before, for example "Retention 32%, up from 19%". An upcoming event shows how it's pacing, for example "On pace: 25% of last year's coaches confirmed so far". Click View report to open the Reports page for that event.
What is the "In 30 seconds" summary on the Reports page?Teddy can do this
The orange card at the top of Reports sums up your events in three short lines, so you don't have to read every number. With All events selected it covers your whole season. Pick one event and it switches to that event: Status, what to Watch, and what to Do.
How does the Forecast tab work, and what does "Expected to work" mean?Teddy can do this
Forecast shows each upcoming event: coaches confirmed so far, whether you're on pace with last year, projected spend against your budget, and how many of today's confirmed coaches should end up working. It's always a projection, never a result.
What does the Staff strength tab show?Teddy can do this
Staff strength looks at the coaches you've picked for each upcoming event and tells you how many are likely to show, the mix of dependable and risky picks, and whether to add extras. It shows counts only. Coach names stay on the Coaches page.
What does the Cancellations tab show?Teddy can do this
Cancellations shows your cancel rate for the season you pick, how late people cancel, each event's cancel rate by year, and how many cancellations came in over the last 14 days.
How do I ask Teddy about my reports?Teddy can do this
Click Ask Teddy at the top of the Reports page and type a question, like "Am I on track?" or "How many more coaches should I confirm?" Teddy answers from the numbers on your Reports page.
