How do people unsubscribe from my emails?

Every email has a link at the bottom, Unsubscribe or choose which emails you get. It opens a page where the person picks what they want. It isn't all or nothing. People who turn off your kind of email are skipped automatically, and your confirmation says how many.

From an organizer's email, they can also stop all emails from that organization and keep everything else.

Always sent: offers and their reminders, assignments, confirmations, schedule changes, cancellations, payment notices and account emails. These can't be turned off.

Good to know

  • Mail apps like Gmail show an Unsubscribe button next to the sender. From your email, it stops emails from your organization. From a recruiting email, it stops recruiting emails.
  • Texts are separate: people reply STOP to any text to stop texts and START to turn them back on. See RV-09.
  • Someone unsubscribed by mistake? They can open the same link again and switch it back on.
